Hi
i have been told by the garage looking at my T25, that the oil coming from the exhaust joint before the tailpipe could be either the turbo on the way out or a worn engine, anyone got any ideas. if it is the turbo how much are we looking to replace??
cheers

Hi
My garage has informed me that it was the turbocharger falling to bits that caused me to break down recently and cause a lot of noise. When they checked for a replacement using the engine number, it is clear that the engine is originally a non aspirated engine, meaning that someone in the past had added the turbo (and manifold obviously). My dilemma is do i spend approx £500-600 replacing the turbo or do i replace the manifold and exhaust system and leave the turbo out?? probably cheaper option because i cant imagine the turbo giving the engine that much more performance.
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
