Hi,
Wondering if anyone had had any joy putting some sporty style mirrors on. My originals need replacing and as I have taken the wagon down the sporty look route thought I might try something different.

Yep. I've got some Corrado jobbies to fit to the Microbru. I've been told that you can't see jack in them, but so what? It's about style and speed, not practicality or comfort and that one's supposed to be the camper

I had Corrado ones fitted and you can see enough out of them for them to be usable (i.e. not dangerours).
I did have mine on adaptors so that they sat "out" a bit more.

Did have? Don't suppose the adapters are still around...to save me making some...if not, have you got an old picture of how they looked by any chance?

No the adaptors and mirrors have now gone to a new home - Armyphil

That looks good. I need the mirrors to work, I have to deal with the school car park and tiny lanes. So stepping them out like that should give them enough of an angle to still let me see the kiddies before I run them over!

Thanks! I'll hopefully be seeing armyphil soon...I think I may run off a few sets of those, if there's some interest?
I was going to control my mirrors with a switch unit from a Strange rover classic (nice and cheap, 2 for a tenner) they have a nice little joystick and a rocker switch, housed in a recessed panel. Which just happens to be the same height and style as the T3 heater front panel. What are the chances of that? Going in the dash next to the offside heater vent

The only improvement I would make is to machine the adaptor so that the slight downward lean of the mirrors is cancelled out.
But that was way beyond my filing capability.

I'll keep it in mind! Need to be watchful for droop at all times, chaps!

i have some corrado mirrors on mine now(thanks ringo )and yes you can see, it just means you might have to move your head about a bit more to see as much as the dumbo ones.the main benefit i found though is when your travelling along with the window down they dont stun wasps and bee's and drop them in your lap

I have corrado ones too, but have not been so successful with fitting. I tried drilling them out (as opposed to drilling my doors) with little success. I have a panel van which is basically a blindspot on wheels so I need the stick-one fisheye bits anyway.

Armyphil or silver bullet: if either of you can be bothered to make up some adaptors I'd love to buy a set!
