One of the 2 retaining tabs (where the screws go) on my drivers side slider door panel cover has broken off due to age and previous owners hamfistedness.

Anyone fixed a new tab on in the past who can give me some advice?

either weld a new tab on, or replace the cover with another one i have a few covers if you go that route

After I posted the weld idea came to me. I can probably get it done by maintenence at work
