I replaced my clutch master cylendar last year on my 1987 Joker. It sat for a few weeks this winter, I started her up and the clutch went to the floor . There was fluid loss so I replaced my slave cylendar and it was fine until about three weeks had gone by and again, no clutch or fluid loss. I bled it at the slave and it was fine for a few more weeks and it failed. I was able to tighten the line at the slave a little but no sign of fluid loss. Could there be an air leak? Does the plastic part of the line degrade?

Not the opaque nylon type but the pipe from the master cylinder as it passes above the fuel tank does, it'll be mint until it levels off and heads to the back. They also chaff  and rub through where they pass through the chassis outriggers.
