Grateful for enlightenment as to the best way of putting the glass back in the rear window of a SIKA/DOKA.

Phone a local windscreen guy. I've just had all the glass in my Caravelle put back in for £80 cash.

Or get yourself some thin rope (about 3 or 4mm) tuck it into the gap in the window rubber (the gap that fits round the body work) and bring both ends together at a corner. Get a friend to hold the window against the opening from the outside and from the inside gently pull on the two ends of the rope, it should pull it all into place except the corner you started at which you'll be able to ease round once the rest of it is in place. Oh and lots of soapy water.

I'd still get a pro to do it. Far easier.
