Using a portable camping stove in your van?

Hi All,
I'm in the middle of converting my van on a tight budget and thought of using a portable camping stove(http://www.charliesdirect.co.uk/product ... ping-stove" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) mounted on my worktop in the van but when I went to buy it is states on the box that it is for out door use only.
Does anyone know why these can't be used indoors? I would presume that there's no difference between these and 'fitted' hobs from the likes of smev and that the reason that they say not to use them indoors is because people might try and use them in tents which would obviously be a fire hazard.
Does anyone here use such a burner in there van?

M

they are fine to use in the van... like all things gas just make sure there's adequate ventilation.
BUT don't use it to heat the van up..

Doesn't look much different to the set up in mine (Autohomes), I was thinking while ripping out my interior that I would source things like that myself rather than buy a converted camper if i ever had to do it again.

Very similar to the one I have in mine. As already stated just make sure theres adequate ventilation when cooking.

No Worry's, I'm going to be fitting a carbon monoxide alarm in anyway, just to be safe, along with a fire extinguisher, first aid kit etc etc.

We've had one for 6 years now, used correctly no probs PLUS you can take it out to clean it properly.
