Exhaust tailpipe

Hi, MOT Due, And just noticed a few holes in the wee tail pipe, Does anyone know if thats a fail? thanks Rick.

I've found some will pass, some will fail though its generally a fail as its part of the exhaust and has a hole/holes in it. You could bandage it for the MOT though.

It's a tenner or there abouts, fix it.

In theory yes, but we all know what those fastenings are like....

If MOT is imminent, bandage it and sort afterwards. This was actually why I adapted mine to accept a Kawasaki silencer. I have changed enough of those tail pipes on T25s and T2s to last a lifetime. Never again....

I figure if a tailpipe is a tenner or whatever and gawd knows what for new silencer, it was cheaper to fit a big s/h stainless one from a bike (£25 ish) and no more crappy tailpipes. Most of the T25s will accept them with only minor modifications needed really.

Mine passed the MOT and then fell off a few weeks later :shock:

Pretty cheap to do providing you can get the bolts off :evil: :
