Fitting a fridge

Hi
I am trying to fit a fridge to a 1983 T25. The gap for the old frigde was quiet small and the smaller fridges are few and far between. As the units needed abit of TLC I did see much of a problem rebuilding them to fit a more standard size 3way fridge.
The first problem is the alignment of the new fridge flue vent and the pipe for the old fridge dont line up they are off set by 13cm. it looks like there is room to fix some kinda flexible pipe however is this ok to do? I assume it gets hot so will try and find some metal or high temperature piping has anyone tried this before?
Second problem is the fridge does not have the top bit on the exhaust think its called the "lazy t" is this needed or just to angle the flue vent?
Thanks
Dave Mac
