Fuel Drain Back

JX 1,6 TD.
For some reason the fuel is draining back into the tank when I park up over a couple of days.
At the Syncro 25 bash we were parked for 4 days with the righthand side lower than the left with a brim full tank, she started fine on the Monday.
At home with half a tank, again with a slight righthand side down attitude, she would not start, I had to spin her over on the key for about 15 secs before she kicked into life.
It has only just started to do this and when the problem happened last week I did check the fuel lines from filter to engine - they were both empty.
Also, there are diesel drops on the tailgate and rear bumper (not at lot) and there is a stink of diesel.
I've looked around the engine bay are there are no obvious signs of leakage nor are there any "puddles" under the bus.
I suspect that there is a leak somewhere in the fuel system, is there any way that I can pressurise the system with diesel to assist with locating the leak?
