1.9 dg firing on three cylinders

Van's been going great until yesterday when it starts but only fires on three cylinders.
The van's been sitting for a week at my workplace so not used daily.
Limited time at work to investigate but this morning, I took off the plug leads, distributer cap and the coil connection and gave it the wd40 treatment to no avail.
The van was serviced 1 year ago but only done 3000-ish miles since. I fitted new leads, plugs and rotor arm at the time as well as the oil and oil/fuel filter.
The cylinder not firing is the nearside one nearest the front of the vehicle
Any pointers?

Swap the lead for the other one on that side ... that'll rule out the lead. Ditto then with the plug.

Ian.

Hi Ian, thanks for the reply. Swapped leads this am still the same.
However PROBLEM SOLVED. It must have been damp. Having used wd40 and the vehicle sat til lunchtime, fired it up no probs and went for a drive. Fingers crossed and all that.
