Star safety light as fog light?

Hi
I have been thinking of using a star safety light as a fog light as the standard plastic fog lights are rubbish. has anyone done this? is there any reason why it shouldn't be done, MOT restrictions etc?

As its only a small light it might be to small to be classed as a proper fog light, haven't got my mot bible to hand to look it up!

Bound to contravene the construction and use act, the bible that all vehicle construction is based on not withstanding MOT regulations.

As long as it complies with this lot (Vehicle lighting regs) then it should be ok!
