Front subframe support - bar with tapped holes

Ay up (again),
I've got the 2wd back on the road so I'm back on Project Doka :D . I've been doing a bit of work around the front end and I've got it all stripped down. When removing one of the subframe bolts (nearest the rear) it sheared, and drilling it out damaged some of the thread in the bar that is within the chassis rail (the front of the bar is bent over slightly to stop it being pushed too far into the chassis - I think). I'm sure I can remove the bar as I've had the one out on the other side. I'm sure it would be ok to assemble it back as it is but it's a very structural bolt hold and while it's all easy access I'm tempted to source or make another.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, do you know if these can these still be bought or shall I grab some steel bar and the drill & tap set?

the bolts and plate are still listed, probably go obsolete but if they do then classic may have them and I know where one is that will be broken in not too distant future, hopefully with everything being recovered; unless someone wants a g plate diesel syncro panel with cut windows with no engine or gearbox that's had a devon pop top added and a camper interior started and will pay £1800 for it as it stands - it's not mine btw
