van starts fine -usually -fine -

however - once its stopped - whether for 5 minutes or 5 hours -
on trying to restart - engine turns and turns without catching -

just when anxiety of exhausting battery kicks in -
so does engine -

where might be useful to check - to avoid this drama? :)

Hi mate,

van likes a drama so it does! So, overnight its ok? How long during the day is it ok?

warm start should need foot flat to floor to start if its still running like it left the factory. :rofl (that's in the destructions book, honest)

first thing I guess is fuel delivery
then spark

if both....Timing??

Thanks em!
:)

who needs eastenders when you got a t25!?!

overnight fine -

only after a stop at supermarket or left for a couple of hours - does the difficult start/whirring begin -

so engine warm - foot fully down on accelerator pedal might be the way to go?
will try that one -
is that with the ignition switched on or off?

fuel delivery seems fine - as does spark at spark plugs (though carb looks like it hasnt been serviced in a long long time) - strangely seemed to start better - before i reconnected the auto choke cable running to the side of the carb?!?(little yellow connector).

Will try starting with pedal fully down on warm engine - and work out from there -

as always - nice to hear from you -

:)

Edoh,

womens logic here...so could be wildly wrong.

Warm engine...autochocke says NO CHOKE, therefore need the throttle wide to get the thing started???

just a guess.

Anyway....hope it works for you.
