Hi folks,

Probably already know the answer to this but check before buying a new one.

Leisure battery is not mainining its charge. Alternator and split relay working fine as I have checked with a voltmeter. Charging well over 13volts whilst engine running. However, any charge soons dissapears...

Is it time for a new battery?
Any recommendations where to buy one?

Cheers all

CHrisG

Take out and charge on a charger first, just to be sure but it does sound like it's time for a new one.

Almost - but you should either leave the battery for a few hours before the first test, or apply a significant load for a few minutes, otherwise the 'surface' charge will give you a falsely high reading...
