Sliding door hard to close

The sliding door on my t25 is hard to shut. It needs a good slam and push on the back section to close it. A mate's van closes much easier. I was wondering whether there is anything I can adjust, oil etc. to get it to close easier. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Try undoing the pin on the door frame next to rear seat. All that slamming may have moved it further away. Just undo it with an open ended spanner, moving it further in or out of the van and retightening until you get a smoother shut.

Cov, Im having issues with my sliding door (as posted on another thread
https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=66960), what pin do you mean, is this on the sliding door hing/runner or am i looking in the wrong place. Mines van's an 82, I know there is a differnece between early and late vans?
Theres a couple of pics on the thread I posted can you point me in the right direction at all?

Theres normally a large pin on the rear of the door frame into which the lock engages. The lock on the door 'grabs' this pin and that what holds the door shut. It can move over time.

Hope you dont mind me reviving this...
On my van, the large pin keeps moving and falling off...thus meaning the door wont close. The pin goes through a "washer" then screws into a plate, but the plate moves freely...is this right? As when i try and screw into the plate, it keeps moving and its difficult to keep in place.
Are there proper names for these parts and any advice on where to purchase them?
Cheers again
