Is this right?? why cant they do emissions tests running on gas ???
Just bi-curious

I believe they have to test it on what it is running on at the time of test
if you drive it in on gas thats what it should be tested on

my MOT man doesn't know how to change his machine for testing on lpg?
by rights it should be tested on whatever you run it on.

I was told "Whichever you drive in on we test on" at my local MoT place
Anyone checked if there is a national policy on this ?

By rights, if he doesn't know how to change his machine, should he really be testing anything as I'd be ruddy worried if an inspector looking at my van didn't know his gear????

LIS the man who tests my vehicles has been doing MOT's for 30 + years i think he know his job. but as had never had to change to test LPG i wouldn't expect him to Know.
Tony the triumph 2000 dash and the stag are nearly the same.
how much is the car? i'm not interested but i may know people that are.
