No oil left??????

Too much oil? Oil so thick and cruddy its plugged the gap?

no, the oil was a bit low so i filled it up, and the leak stopped.
probably like tar now,yes. its plugged itself up....

Very thin oil can be a problem. Used to have that issue on a bug I owned and switched over to Shell Rimula (a diesel oil) and the leaks all stopped.

Yep - the old land rover addage - if it aint leaking then its ran out!

I wish my oil leak will stop....

....mine too. Helped our friend move to a brand new flat using the van a couple of weeks ago. Parked on her new, unblemished block paving but unfortunately our van left a small oily 'I was here' patch. Ooops
