I bought a "G" reg t25 van last year and someones already replaced the engine with 1600 diesal from a Caddy. It may be underpowered but i get fantastic mileage so i'm reluctant to upgrade it. The problem is i have a leaky front crank/pulley seal and i'm wondering if i can change it without having to remove the engine. Any ideas anyone?

I have this also, but its only slight.

You can replace the seal without removing the engine but you will need to remove the crank pulley and this means the timing will need to be redone. Think the seal is around £15 from GSF etc.

I have been toying with the idea of a can of that seal fixing stuff to see if that works? If not probs just putting a 1.9 in!
