Well I've started the refurb of my interior hoping to make it a bit more me, so far I have done the seams from the inside which were in great condition and sills were spotless waxoiled etc and then done the silver bubble wrap and put some new lino down and I have now started to refurb the main unit.
So here some pics of my progress so far
Cargo area
Cab area
New Lino £30 off cut from the market
Main unit before I started to mess with it
Work top before and after. I used a covering called D-C-Fix its like fablon but its thicker and scratch resistant for recovering work tops.
The grey trim is from flea bay
This is the unit masked off an then the trim painted ( after a good sanding and priming)
And the main unit now covered in D-C-Fix white wood grain covering
So far so good, I'll post more as I go a long

You're in a similar position to me, about to start the insulation at the weekend. Your cupboards are looking good, much nicer than that original fake wood vinyl!
Are you going to be carpeting the walls? I'm very worried about the feasability of getting the carpet underneath the window rubbers neatly. I think the conversion people do it with the windows out and then fit the windows and rubbers but I find that even more scary!

Hi uniB
Im still thinking about relinning the walls with new carpet, Im doing a bit of research into fabric paint to see if I can freshen up the existing. I have already tried one brand called Stirling carpet dye that you spray on but this is more for recolouring faded carpet and I wanted to go from the biege to grey and this stuff didn't cover the ligther biege to well so on with the research. I'll let you know when I find something suitable or if new linning carpet is the way.

Managed to get abit more done today, finished off the main unit and painted my bed/seats with upholstery fabric paint as the upholstery was great quality just not my colour and it has covered very well I also knocked up a fuse board for all the 12v camping kit.
The main unit finished
I sanded down the old latches and they came up like brushed aluminium result
Painted the rear seat before after shot, red is after
Both seat pads painted
Fuse board from Raw components
Next up the wardrobe and overhead locker

Got a bit more done yesterday, took the windows out and did the linning carpet. I got the carpet from
http://www.megavanmats.com/ Mark was very helpful and I highly recommed them. Going to crack on today and hopefully get the funiture in once my hangover has cleared.
Took the window seals out expecting some kind of repair but they were mint just a liitle sand, vactan and a wee bit of paint.
Then got one with the carpeting, top tip DON'T do this if its a bit breezey the spay glue goes everywhere !
