Front inner CV joint bolts are 2mm (!) longer and are not always included in the boot kit. In the pic below are two CV joint bolts, the one on the right is as supplied in the Boot kit for a VW T25. The one on the left with at least 3 threads more is a Mercedes W123 / W124 / W126 CV joint bolt (A 001 990 71 12 ). These cars are E Class from 1978 - 1995 and S Class 1985 - 1992



They are plated as well and come with a washer.

hex head or multispline ?

Multi spline and Hafwits have the tool in stock

I recollect I've had these from VW in the last year or two with the correct hex head. As they're only a fastener and not T3-specific I can't see why they'd be NLA now.
