worked it in with a soft brush i think, then after sponged off with clean water. We didnt put it on the canvas - going to replace that. Just covered the bed etc with a couple of blankets to protect from splashes

We've just cleaned ours the diluted Milton Fluid didn't remove it all but Dettol Mould and Mildew cleaner did.

How ever even before we'd started the furry/fluffy lining was floating (as dust) off every time we touched it, so be careful.

It is now a mix of areas with fluff and no fluff (although doesn't look too bad in broad daylight!!!) and we are considering what to do about it because we are concerned about beathing it in, can't be healthy. Definately don't want to have to clean it every year.

Never tried Milton, my main concern was getting bleach on the canvas. A high concentration of bleach wil eat through the material but even something as diluted as Dettol Mould & Mildew won't be good for its water resistance. I might be worrying about nothing but I didn't want to risk it after I'd accidently got some on my canvas. I immediately rinsed the area thoroughly with water but you can still see the marks. I still use Dettol as it works really well but am now just more careful where it goes.
