Could anybody recommend or let me know where i could get a 3 point seat belt fitted for the back seats for a 85 devon camper

Hopefully someone will chime in with whether the 85 Devon has factory fitted seatbelt mounts, they are normally hidden behind the trim behind the rear window. (If you peer into the rear, exterior air vent towards the middle of the van you should see a plate there) If you have the mounts fitted its a pretty straightforward DIY job for the non-cupboard side, if you want 3 point on the cupboard side check the archives for your options plenty of people had it done, I diy'd it with Gowesty's trim kit. 3 point Seatbelts and required fittings available from Brickwerks. http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php?p ... t&Itemid=6 Westy trim kit from Gowesty http://www.eurovanusedparts.com/ec_view ... parent_id= (Westys all have the factory mounts so easier !!)
It may help if you figure out your body type, as indicated on the VIN plate in the door shut.

I'm currently in the process of fitting the brickwerks 3 point belts in my 85 Devon. You will probably need to drill out the high mounting point near the tailgate. Mine was punched in the panel but not drilled. The rear of this reached by removing the air vents outside and reaching in to hold the mounting plate. The 3 hole plate that holds the reel should fit staight in. (Remove the rear trim panels.)The lower point is on the side panel in the inside corner between the floor and engine bay bulkhead. This may need drilling out to increase the diameter to accept the seatbelt bolt and fitted with a mounting plate. The catch needs to drilled into the engine bay bulkhead near the top again fixed from the rear with a mounting plate. If your fitting a lap belt for the middle seat you just need to evenly space the fixings along the bulkhead. Mines still striped out so if you want pictures mail me and I'll sort you out some at the weekend.

WHile we're all on rear seat belts, I've just bought a 1989 T25 autosleeper. Does anyone know if this had got the three-point belt anchors and where they'd be, both sides please. I've looked at the trim as there's no metal showing on the side struts where I'd expect to find an anchor point - the trim looks tricky to rmove as it's like a plastic moulding, is removing that easier than it looks?

Any advice welcomed. Apologies as I'm a 'noob' to it all but am good with my hands once Ive got the knowledge!

As Auto sleepers were converted panel vans .. unlike Devons and Westfalia which were buses, there is no captive nut to bolt the top anchor in.
DIY or get your wallet out (again)
Removing the plastic intake and the wardrobe will let you fit the kit

ok, if there's no captive nut doesn that mean there's no anchor and therefore welding is needed? I'm a bit confused now!

Perhaps it's get the wallet out time!!
