Trying to remove front calipers to fit new splash guard. Bolts won,t shift. Tight space to get to - breaker bar wont really fit properly. Soaked with plus gas and will try again tomorrow. Any easy way? Going into garage next week for front drive shaft boot replacement, but want to get them off as its cheaper!

i have found that a 22mm half inch socket (from memory) and an 18inch breaker bar will fit, the a clout from a 4lb club hamer will loosen them then move on to a normal sized ratchet to remove the bolt.

Thanks for the reply neil. Yes 22mm socket but my 24" breaker bar fouls the foot well. I will aquire a 18" bar and try again.
Cheers

turn the wheels in turn so the bar doesn't foul

job done, hardest part was removing splash plate fixing screws. managed without breaking any off. replaced with stainless bolts. clas ohlsen's new shop in watford has a nice range of stainless fixings.
