What should be in this hole?

This hole is under the lefthand carb, right next to the inlet manifold. Any ideas what should
be in it
There si a little oil around it as well.

An M6 x 12mm pan head screw. It holds the tinware on.

Any place that does beetle spares will have them. Common to both vehicles.

Are they standard timware screws then as I can get em on fleabay

They will do, the original screws are only slightly different.
