hi there all, i need advice, was driving my van which has a jx engine, it just stopped as if i fuse had gone, no noises, when turning over i can see the belts moving so they haven't gone, i have fuel. The AA are coming, but not to fix they have just appointed someone to come and get us and take us home

Any ideas?

All battery leads on?

tight / secure?

do you get lights? electrics?

big thick red fuse wires (on mine) coming from lh side of fuse box - connected up?

any burning smoky smells before you stopped?

are you doubly sure you've got fuel? up to pump? after pump?

all sorted, just before the recovery bloke got there i checked again, a wire had broken off of the solianoid thingy off the back off the fuel pump... Happy days
