Can anyone tell me where the thermostat is on the 1.6 td, and how difficult it is to replace? I think that is the TX engine maybe? Have new sender and a thermostat from J.K. Dont like the idea of draining the system and bleeding, never seem to get it right! The temp gauge only goes about a quarter way, and rad feels cold. sounds like thermostat to me. Van been standing for a couple of months due hip op. any help appreciated.
