Tyre Choice

I am looking into buying some new tyres for my syncro
I am wanting to go to 16" on some nice alloys not yet bought.
I have some macho's at the moment 205/75/15 but they are not really suitable for every day or long motorway trips.
Did go to Camper Jam but they were a bit tyreing.

Ratio I have is 5.43:1 so 16" should be ok GoWesty use 215/70/16 with this ratio.

The tyres I am thinking about I have listed and prices I have found.

225/70/16

Cooper Disco ATR £67.80
HT £66.50

Kumho 798 £62.84

215/70/16

General Graber AT2 £80.60
UHP £78.90

Kumho 825 £61.30

Cooper zeon xsta £68.70

215/75/15

BFG MT £86.90

General Graber AT2 £68.00

KUMHO KL78 £64.00

Toyo Open county AT £59.00

235/70/16

Kumho KL78 £66.82

I have put some links to reviews

Like everybody I want good off-road, great on road, quiet cheap.

Any thoughts

I find the BFG M/T a bit on the noisy side but they wouldn't be as bad as the Macho's. The max rim width for the 225/70/16 is 7" so your choice of alloy rims is quite limited. Mercedes and VW do that size but you would have to check the ET. The Mefro steel wheel with the BFG M/T looks quite good.

BFG MT at £87 where ?
Best price so far £100 each bal and fitted plus vat
I ask cos ATS quoted £110 but said they'd match a better price if they can

Is that the $64 000 van that they "completely stripped and painted red everywhere" except under the back seat?
Doh!

Pretty sure they are Audi David.

Not sure of the model.

Here is the A3 Sport, which is very similar. Probably a variant/replica of these.

Should be easy enough to fit. Ask Mike. He has Audi 16's fitted.

Thats a Passat wheel I'll wager. I had them on a 2001 Passat but they were 7" wide
