Looks much tidier now engine bay has been resprayed and all bits and bobs tidied up, must say its the best thing i did with the van 112bhp and loads of torque on massive tyres on back at the mo pulls up to 100mph just like a car cruises at 75mph all day long about 32mpg just waiting for Aidan To build me box with long fifth for better economy or more speed at the same economy lol. will get some more pics up one night this week hopefully as vans in storage at the moment

my local scrappy got one in at the mo , prob want 150 for it complete

406 but they run lucas epic - ok if you dont mind wiring
605 , xm ,early xantia/406 used bosch (few lucas ) injection systems.

i have a motor for sale with bosch £250 - i seem to have 3 spare engines at the mo , one is a new pug recon , never run so dont think i will need this many spare!

Camper.......I dont understand how people have had problems with the kits unless they have been a bad copy done by someone else other than Famous phil hes the man to speak to on here that makes them, engineers shop recently got all new fancy tooling aswel so there ever better than before. The kit thats in my van now was prevoiusly in the blue T25 that is in one of the pics i posted and was in that van for approx 8 to 9 years used everyday of the year been up and down the country with trailer endless times never once missed a beat. I have had 1.6D 1.6TD 1.7D 1.9D 1.9TD and petrol T25s now and as you can see im using a peugeot engine in my own van was sick of getting no where quick and hills arent a problem anymore
Last summer went to newquay 420miles from home sat at 70-75mph all the way up hill down no problems same on way back but called in to see a friend at gloucester. check out his conversion pics in link about hes converted loads over the years

Forgot to say my 2.1 conversion is still running standard vw clutch plate the exact same one that was fitted in the blue van all those years ago and the 1.7td pug engine was fitted in my old van as a turbo upgrade as origional engine with 244,000 miles was still sweet but had several oil leaks

another pic of my bus bit more recent

Nice van there, am i right in saying the only bit that would interfere with the engine lid is the inlet manifold?

:D The inlet and oil filler would interfere , there are others with the same engine fitted with lowered engine mounts and the engine lid shuts OK

inlet system and oil filler are the highest points.

I have just replaced the lucas injection pump with a bosch i aquired on ebay changed the pump pipes injectors etc this afternoon, wish i had done this 2years ago the power has increased considerably think il go up another tyre size to get the revs even lower currently on 175/65/16s with 3H box with 0.70 5th courtesy of Aidan T but think il easily pull a bigger tyre on the bosch set up. well worth the £60 i have spent! :D
