1900WB Spark Plugs

Hi
I got new plugs from GSF and they are smaller than my old ones. Bosch FR7DC+ whereas the old ones are WR7DC+. The new ones need a 10mm plug spanner and the old 14. Seems like quite a difference, although the business end seems the right size all round...
any thoughts?

They sold you the wrong ones.
Should be sb95001 (GSF Number)
Bosch +1's.

What's the difference in real terms?
I thought they might be a newer replacement.
The thread is the same size / length and the washer seems the same, just the back end of the plug is more "dainty". They seem to work OK... Is there likely to be a difference in the spark the give?

as baxter says.the difference is the ones they sold you are the wrong ones.

it's all about heat... and their working temperatures
Lawnmower plugs look similar too... but you wouldn't fit them either

Figures, they are a lot smaller-bodied = less heat dissipation. Called them today "Yeah, we picked you the wrong ones" Great, nowhere near GSF anytime soon to change that. Ah well.

Just like me to disagree with the others lol......The heat range actually looks the same....same reach, same thread so in theory (I use my words loosely here) theory at least , there shouldn't be any reason why this plug doesn't function correctly...BUT! that still doesn't make it the right plug.
Correct and recommended plugs are:
Bosch W7DTC (triple electrode longer life)
Bosch W7DC+ (plain jane single electrode standard life)
NGK B6ES (plain jane single electrode standard life)
NGK BR6ES (plain jane single electrode standard life but with resistor for radio supression)
NGK BP6ET (triple electrode long life)
I'm sure that there are several others that would also be suitable like the Bosch Super 4's and Platinum tipped long lifes as long as heat range/reach and thread are correct (standard old plug socket size)
