I have added a fifth seat to our camper, which I believe is from a multivan.


We would like to fit a retractable lap belt. I believe these came as standard but the parts did not come with the seat when I bought it.

Has anyone got the same seat with a VW fitted lap belt, and if so could you take a photo of it so that I can copy the mounting points.

I have measured for a standard aftermarket lap belt, but with mounting it on the floor it would be on it's maximum extension just to get it on.

Any help much appreciated.

The multivan seats have a bracket and seatbelt mount which fixes to the vertical face of the front seat base. This allows the reel to be fairly close to the passenger's hip, and gives a bit of flex for larger peeps. Looks to me that you don't have that bracket.
