If you wire them up inline do they act like a 12v one regards using a 12v charger too, also charging from the alternator?

yes Jed in lline or in series would be the way
these batteries don't need alternators, as they last for so long, however the alternator will charge them to a degree.

these deep cycle batteries are a whole new ball game, they give you the ability to camp for months without recharging, but when recharging is required it's best done with a three phase charger like the lidl one

Where can you get them from? Whats the sort of cost of a 3 way charger? And how much longer would they last than a standard leisure battery they most people use?
Sorry for barage of question but has got me thinking whats best value in the long run

Trojan batteries are used most often with renewable energy systms such as solar. Therefore they have specific chargers used for the recharging. It is not recomended that they are run flat as with all batteries but will handle running to about 50% more than 3000 times (cycles)

it is best to use a specific charger, a 3 stage one. however you can use your alternator it will just reduce there life. which is the case with car batteries as well.

but they will still last for 5 - 7 years

:ok

£15

good for 10 years

These batteries are for campers who don't like being attached to the national grid, and like camping in remote areas for extended periods.

the figures to compare are the amp/hour figures between these and so called leisure batteries of similar size
