Got myself a D2 airtronic eber which had the 1 hour control fitted.

I've bought a 7 day timer


Now, wiring it in, the timer has a plug on it and 4 wires, brown, yellow, red and a grey with red stripe.

Where the original 1hour control unit has been fitted it was just wired in with bullet connectors and those wires are a different colour.

The wires that it connects into the eber wiring harness are all the same colour as the 7 day timer but it has one extra in the harness it is brown with white wire. Which is connected to the original 1 hour timer which is yellow with purple bands.

Has anybody got any wiring destrustions? Looked on the wiki but the 2 downloads for the eber control units won't download. And has anybody go any instructions for how to work the 7 day timer?

That's cleared up the spare wire issue.

Now it seems that went to the 'sensor' we don't have one, do we really need one?

No -that replaces the one inbuilt on the control unit.

Sorted, all connected and running. Just testing the timer.

why cant mine be that simple.

Why what's wrong?
The timer works a treat, just figuring out what times to set it for now, especially to find a good time when the multivan can sit there all defrosted when the neighbours are outside scraping ice in sub zero temps

Uh oh, woops,
Tried the timer out and we can't extend the running time - doh it's a bt one. Is there anyway to over ride the settings? Or should I be looking for one with blue eber logo on?
