Help, its soon time for the old M.O.T, and i know for sure that the Radius arm bushes need replacing. Now what i need to know is, How difficult a job is this to do meself, or should i put the van into a garage to sort this out for me, i can do a few little bits and bobs meself, but not to sure about this job, Cheers

outer one and sleeve pretty easy to do, but inside ones are a pig especially on late suspension with cast lower control arms, garage will be cheaper if they quote off the computer, my local place just quoted £85 to change a lower ball joint including the part; I'm thinking get real the ball joint alone is over £30 for a good un and the whole lca arm has to come off to press the ball joint out and fit new one and reassemble, I'll lend them my press tools to do the job but I can't compete on that price

I replaced the top & bottom ball joints, lower control arm bushes, radius rod bushes and anti roll bar bushes last year. It wasn't complicated to do but it was hard graft and I did get the use of a press in my local garage for free. The hardest bit was getting the lower shock mount lined up in order to get the bolt in. All in all it did need some big ish tools and a day each side.

Like Aidan states, if you go to a garage get the job quoted, quick it ain't!

as sweed did but be carefull if you press out the bottom ball joint, one fo the arm cracked as there is not very much metle on the outer edge as it is sort of shaped squair edge in a circle, if that makes sence, well worth doing as it transform the ride quality of you van.
