I'm trying to get the tappets out to bleed them before putting the head back on , i've cleaned around the hole but they will not come all the way out any suggestion's.

the little sucker on the end might tug it out

T'onion had a bit of grief but they came out..maybe he can shed some light

Thank's Kev will try that i was using a magnetic pickup tool but it's just not strong enougth.

welding wire , bend a hook on the end hook em on and tug

beware tho sometimes they wont come out after being battered when out of oil.......
