CU cylinder heads ?

Hi Guys and Gals
I have a CU engine but most of the exhaust studs are snapped off or buggered, have tried Helicoiling but made a right lash of it.
I also have the engine that was fitted in the van when i bought it, it appears to be an early type 4 2.0 from a bay but can't make out the engine code.
My question is can i fit the heads off the older 2.0 on to the CU or are the heads on this engine unique to this build code.
Thanks

cu and cj heads have different exhaust ports so your exchangers wont fit

You could try(if all else fails) drilling out the holes to a slightly larger size
& tapping them to suit a bush or a bolt.

Then drilling & tapping to suit your head bolts.

Basically using a screwed piece of steel bar as a
filler & retapping to take your Cyl' Head Bolts.

If it works on a steam turbine alternator in a power
station it should work for your engine block!

Hope this helps & best of luck.
