A week ago me and a very capable mechanic matey fitted bilstien sport shock absorbers, avo 50mm lowering springs and powerflex bushes to my wallowy old hector, 1981 Aircooled camper.
What a transformation it has made, the van handles better than most cars, can be chucked into corners with hardly any body roll and the ride is quality, a smidge stiff but compared to the worn out suspension it replaced 10 out of 10.
All items purchased from just kampers for just over £500, took two of us 3hours to fit, due to a couple of nuts being seized, and if anyone wants to spend any proper monies on there beloved T25, then sort the suspension, oh and ive fitted 15inch penta alloys, no spacers or longer studs, bolts required. Looks quality.
I will post some pics of my van over this wkend.

hey rafa
look forward to the piccies and nice to hear the ride is better.
my van is in bodyshop at present and they have just fitted new poly bushes to the steering column mounts on the cross member. cant wait to see what difference it makes as i've only heard good things. Wonder if it matters that i have power steering

Not sure of the exact dimensions and offset, but ive been buying and trying to get some nice alloys on me van for what seems an age. They went on perfectly with plenty clearance from hub and enough thread for nut/bolt.
Appreciate the concern dude, i will put pics on, it looks sweet.

You never driven a boggo diesel octavia then?
I reckon my van handles better than that. -50mm on AVO's and Bilstein's are the way to go.

Try a real Mini for handling or a Focus
