I've a 1985 club joker, i've taken out the kitchen block and there's a wire (two spade connectors) coming out of the floor next to the sink waste outlet. It looks like it goes into the waste tank, but i'm not sure. Anyone any ideas what this is for? Cheers.

I think it is to do with the underslung gas tank pre heater. I have the same but the gas tank had been removed by a previous owner.

Hi
In cold conditions the gas doesn't flow properly the pre heater just warms it up a bit so your cooker and fridge function properly.
(i think lol)

In cold temperatures although it wont really freeze the gas the regulator will ice up. I believe it warms the regulator to stop it frosting and reducing the gas flow.
