having some issuse with the buzzer of doon on the camper (1990), so i am in the prosses of installing an oil preashure gauge, but with out running new wires (using the wires from the origional oil preasure switches). got the gauge (vdo), got the sender 2 treminal (vdo) and the m10x1.0 braded flexi pipe all installed.

i want the red led on the dash to flash as per normal when the preashure is low or when the keys are in and on, so this wire should be conneted to the teminal on the new sender.

dose any on know which wire needs to be connected at the dash conection no12 or 13, the bently
no12-open (1985 only) oil preashre warning, 0.9 (1986-1987)
no 13oil preashure warning 1.8bar (1985) oil preashure warning 0.3bar (1986-1987)

in a nut shell which of the wires on the at the dash block conector controlls the flashing led?

thanks neil

Have you fitted a new quality high pressure switch (as supplied from Brickwerks as GSF ones are crap..)
Thats the one behind the waterpump pulley..
Poor connections also cause issues and too thin oil can do it.

alread had the gauge and got 2 of the pipes made up when i did this on my doka, but on the doka i ran a new wire as i was installing an oil temp gauge, just looking for an easyer option and saving a little on the wire and zip ties:D
