Anyone used Classic Parts recently?
I put in an enquiry for some steering column bits and bobs as part of my dash-out column refurb/dodgy stereo wiring investigation. Got a quick response (but slight error on quantities) so marked up the sheet with changes and my visa details and faxed back as instructed. Nothing. No response. Realized that I'd left off the card address as I'd done it all from work. So sent it again with address. Still nothing. Have I done something wrong?
Apart from buying the T3 in the first place

I bought some mirror glass off them a couple of months back.
They do not communicate very well (which is quite common over here), the parts you order simply turn up.
They will only dispatch parts when they have the money so you should be okay.
As Cruz said give them a ring if you are really concerned.

I use them frequently, I just use email for communication seems to work ok, they are fallible though it has to be said, but aren't we all

Thanks Chaps,
I'll give it a few days and see what comes in the post. Probably two lots of the same order

I'll have to get another T3 to use the parts up

Still nothing. Are they always slow to ship out? I'll have to be an Englischer and phone to make sure the payment went ok...

usually take 5-7 working days on normal delivery (once payment cleared) with dhl, but you can ask and pay extra for quicker delivery
pre christmas it was 10-12 days normal which really messed me up (and Russel and Jed.......knock on effect)
I ordered a pile of bits on Friday for quick delivery, here's hoping...

Going to ring them now. Something's gone wrong
Oh no it hasn't!

Parts have left them at the start of the month - should have asked for express shipping

Know for next time...

How fast did you expect it when things can take a week to get from one side of a county to the other?
Better taking a week than no longer being available

I have to blame our German friends in some small way, what with their reputation for being so efficient.
Forgot all about the UK postal go-slow
