Replacing coolant pipes

Hi all,

I have just discovered a water leak. one of the pipes that run from the expansion tank to the front had dropped onto the drive shaft which in turn had worn the pipe down. I have a length of pipe to just replace a small section but am wondering if there are any hints and tips (like how to bleed the system) that I need to be aware of when refilling the system?

Cheers,
H

What engine?

Info about bleeding is in the wiki:

ah, good point, it's a JX (1.6TD).

Just looked at the wiki; cheeers, looks simple enough! Am going to stick a blob of Stick Like Sh*t on it, that should hold it until next weekend

Cheers,

H
