Can someone remind me what the test is for the rad fan when you short accross two of the three conections on the rad temp sensor? Oh and what size`socket do I need to get the thing out?

Stick a wire in any combination.. should have low and high speed.. IIRC the middle one is the common one.. (but its been a while since I did it.. ) use a good size wire as a paper clip might get a bit warm witht he current draw....
Sensor.. big.. dunno...

Thanks Si, I thought that's what it was, I think I have only High fan but not low if thats correct, is this a fan error? fuse maybe or does the one fuse do high and low? I just get a few crackly sparks when I jump one side to centre.

Poss fan fault I reckon.. must be a resistor or something in the fan or poss short in the wiring.. swap the high side to the low .. and cut the low wire... at least it wont boil up then.. or burn out the fuse... just be a little noisey...
My fan burnt out a while back, but seeming as its been cool I havent got round to dropping the rad to fit a replacement...
