Just a thought

Yes there are stainless steel ones out there and rust can come from inside as well but what if the outside of the system was thinnered when new and coated with silicone sealant???

Would it insulate it and make things get too hot??

Put some on my silencer where it was blowing once and it lasted ages :ok

Would make stud nuts and bolts easier to remove if the ain`t had any moisture round em

Come to think of it why not use it on other areas such as fuel tanks etc,etc 8) 8)

Time for some experiments

Doesn't it knacker metal after a while or something?

I agree though, its great for fixing exhausts...

Exhausts rot inside out.....amongst other things, water is a natural by-product of combustion....and slightly acidic into the bargain.
