Hi,

Could some one please point me in the right direction, I need to locate the oil relief valve as there is a massive build up of oil pressure which is rupturing the oil filter.

I have a 1.6TD JX

its in the oil pump, what make of oil filter are you using?.

Hi,

I was using a halfords oil filter.

Try fitting a "mann w940/25" filter [as recommended by VW].
if it blows that you really have a problem.
