Dad is gonna change it but where is it? I can see the exhaust underneath but when i lift the engine cover all i see is a heap of metal!

It's early and i'm learning, i know.

Got the bits from just kampers altough i only have 2 no 7's, does the diagram show more?
I also have no 6 which looks easy enough to fit! Pfffff
Do i just bung em straight on or use some of the blue seal stuff that poeple talk about?

shouldn;t need the blue sealant.

but get yourself some plusgas or WD40 and liberally soak/spray the nuts and bolts that have to be undone and leave for a while then soak/spray again and then hopefully the will undo. If you have some Copper slip/grease then put a dab on the threads when putting the exhaust back together.

I'm sure you only need two number sevens but I could be wrong as I have a completely diferent engine in every way you can imagine.

I was all plussgassed up and ready to go when I took my exhaust off the manifold put it was all for naught. The best advice I recieved was from Daz'. Go for a run before doing it to get everything warm and then it takes a bit of a jerk to start them moving rather than slow constant presure. After that they came off very very easy. And no it wasn't coz they were covered in oil or that they were recently messed with, the nuts looked like nondescript blobs of dry rust before I forced a socket over them.

o yeah beware lady, some of use have diesel engines

2 no 7s, a no 6, a 134 and an egg-fried rice.

Good luck with the exhaust. The hardest bit will be getting the rusty bolts removed, following Horza advice will help get them moving if anything will. Oh and make sure you're a decent set of tools rather than a set from the 99p shop.

Using the right tool for the right job makes things so much easier.

Ok, went to do the exhaust and wow those nuts are rusty, the whole thing is rusty! Well tailpipe (number 4) and those things either side which go up into the engine, whatever they are called.

Also that thing that comes off the exhaust is blowing, do i have to have a new one of those too? Well there's two of them?

Is there nothing i can get in the meantime to stop it from making such a noise?

Not only but also the gearbox leaks, only can see it leaking when i turn off the engine, drips for about 10 mins then stops?
