I've recently got myself a satnav and im struggling with the power lead for it - its keeps popping out of the lighter socket. Also, i also want to charge my phone - but i cant as i've only got the one socket!
I've seen these multiple cigarette lighter sockets and was wondering if anyone had fitted one that looks half decent? I cant stand the thought of wires sticking out the place - i would rather strip off the plug and wire it direct to the fuse.
I dont have a dash tidy (nor do i want one) so it would have to go directly onto or into the dash.
Appreciate the pointers,
Ringo

I replaced mine with the continental fitting because I got sick of it jumping out.
The 'Hella' plug actually clips into the socket and is much more secure.
You can buy multiple adapters just like the UK ones or just clip an adapter into a single extension.

You can get the plug/socket and other bits from most Maplins or on Ebay.

I bought a double that was meant to be mounted.
In the end I stripped it down and installed the two lighter sockets directly in the dash to the right of the radio.
