Removing headlight warning bulb

Headlight warning bulb is very dim - How do you get at it?

I presume you mean the blue one? Remove clocks followed by plastic cover over back of LED lights then carefully pull circuit board away. Lights are plug in and mostly LED except headlight indicator which is a clear white bulb with a blue cover if you look. When the T25 was made, blue LEDs were a pipe dream - hence the bulb.
Bulb probably blackened. Tis possible to swap it for a blue LED but very difficult to get brightness right if you go that route. If you can still actually see it, I'd leave well alone.

I had that problem and hard wired a blue flashing 12V LED from Maplins direct to the high beam circuit. Trouble is that it turned out to be a high powered LED and on first use blinded me at the wheel. I recon if you aimed it out the front people would move over thinking you were the fuzz. (Which reminds me of that old hippie joke!)

Yup,thats the problem with blue since it travels the furthest and why emergency vehicles use blue. I dipped the LED in black paint and that produced just the right brightness although I guess you could increase the value of the resistor too.

Take out the Bulb but leave in the BLUE plastic cover.
Put a BLUE LED in and it will be OK.
Done that to mine some four years ago and no problem :- it appears as the same brightnes as the original bulb.
This problem has been done to death. There has been many a post on the same subject.
