Can anyone recommend a product I can use in the cab area to provide more sound proofing. I have this wonderfully quite engine in the van which just purrs but the noisey bit is from the wheels on the road beneath me! All suggestions welcome other than 'turn the radio up' & 'earplugs'.

caravelles have a foam deadening under the carpet you could see if you could source some from a breaker. There are number of sound deadening products available from ebay and the like. Waxoyl will help matters on the exterior underneath a load of black stuff may help on wheel arches, also I the front door cavity. check you have quietish tryes, I use firestone vanhawks and they seem pretty good. Your wheel bearings aren't rumbling (noisier turning?)

Even though my cab is "factory sound deadened" being a multivan, theres still a fair bit of road noise.
I double lined the under seat/battery boxes and wheel arch tubs, (all from the inside) with a roll of bitumenised flashing tape for about £15, it took under an hour, used double sided tape too to help the adhesion, although its self adhesive.
Can't tell its there visually.
Seems lovely now, like a modern motor :ok
