We got plenty of snow here in the Blackdowns.
Took Louise out and about for her job ( visiting the elderly in the area and getting them up ) this morning, the oldies were very grateful to see her in this bad weather. Lit a few fires for them etc.
The syncro has pulled two vehicles up Pencross Hill this morning, one was a 4x4 Friendee Bongo thing, that had no traction what-so-ever.
Simon.

I was impressed with the traction of my needing replacing road tyres!
This is our first real snow since syncro ownership

Nothing on the ground here, but it's starting to snow again. I'm a teacher and my school is closed again today. Come on snow!

Sunny day here! Bit of ice in the car park when i took the kids to school. Feeling a bit bad though ... my wife has gone off to work in Penzance (where there is snow) in her Peugeot 306. I suppose I can do a "dramatic rescue" if needs be!

Well I asked for it..

we havent had a lot but.. what was on the ground this morn was compacted, then the sun came out and melted it a bit.. then the wind picked up, turned colder and threw some more snow down... so the roads were a little slippery on the way home tonight..
Just been out laying under the Syncro refitting the propshaft.. also refitted the semperit winter 185r14's as they have a lot more "sipes" than the old Vredestien snow transports.. also being a bit narrower they should bite through better.. Dunno how well they would perform in deep snow though.. I reckon the knobbly MT's would be better then.. or would they...
