I have been on the phone this morning to various eberspacher service& parts centres.I had a return telephone call from a service engineer from one of them who said this is the first time any one had asked for the plug socket.Carnt believe that some think like trying to obtain parts like connectors would be so difficult. But i PM one of our 80 90 members of whom has been so helpfull in the reply. The part is Socket housing female 4 pin part no: 206 31 100.
Plus 4 pins part no: 206 36 018 and gave a name of this company mellor auto electrical for webasto spares & eberspacher .

It is for a Eberspacher 12v/24v D2 & D4 Controller 701.10.003 7 day timer for the 4 pin male plug on it to connect to the D2 loom .What is required is a female socket. The loom i have has no plugs or sockets only the 16 pin heater connector.Thank you Oldiebut goodie

It should be as I told camper - he has quoted the parts above.
Interestingly the part that it is designed to plug into is a mini loom labeled 'switch loom' on the diagram (also has a socket for a sensor) but there is no sign of that in the catalogue.
