T25 WINDSCREEN WIPERS GONE MAD

Happy New Year everyone.

Just as I was hoping 2010 would be a trouble free period for my T25 (to dream the impossible dream) today my windscreen wipers went mad :| as soon as I swithed them on. The right one, passengers side, fell down and started washing the front panel and then came back up only to get tangled up with the left one which was by now completely out of sinc. They have now both died on me. I can hear the motor running but nothing happens. Is this another case of more new parts or do you think with a bit of mechanical therapy it could be sorted out.

I live in hope (as do all T25 owners me thinks).

Thanks, Sandringham

Also, sorry about the Capitals...didn't mean to shout, capital lock was on and I didn't notice... my mate emails people in Capitals because her eyesight is bad! think mine must be getting that way too.

Did what was suggested, but no joy. I can hear the motor running but the wipers quiver a little but don't move :x I wondered if parts could be be frozen? I've run the heater to try to warm up the screen but still no improvement. Looks like another trip to the garage then.

All fixed thanks to Onion & Mocki :D I talked to Mocki after my first failed attempt and he suggested I hadn't got the arm seated down far enough because I hadn't bent the arm back before refitting, so I had another go and Hay-Presto. He also suggested that in this weather it is a good idea to keep the wiper blades up off the windscreen at night so I will try to remember to do that now.

Thanks again chaps.
